Writings that the inspector deems necessary to document the observation may be attached to this record, within the timeframe corresponding to the severity of the case.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------ The pen reference for the different pig categories:
Boars—must be kept individually in rectangular pens with an area of 4 to 5 m², with walls 1.2 to 1.4 m high.
Replacement gilts, after 50 kg, should be kept in pens with a capacity of 8 to 10 gilts and with an area of 1.3 m²/per gilt.
Weanling pigs must be grouped in lots of 15 to 18 animals per pen or farrowing crate, which is how this type of installation is known on technified farms.
Pens for starter, grower, and finishing pigs. They are generally of solid or slatted cement flooring with block walls 0.90 to 1.00 m high. Their size must have a maximum capacity of 20 pigs per pen.
All pens must have their respective feeders and drinkers, be kept clean, according to a daily cleaning program. The installations must have roofs in good condition that do not allow leaks on the farm, in addition to good ventilation and having extra pens for the care of sick or injured animals.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------ The all-in/all-out system (TD/TF).
The use of the all-in/all-out system means establishing a group of pigs in a feeding period (generally after weaning) and maintaining them as a group until they reach the finishing stage. Once the group is established, no more animals are introduced. This is an old concept that has been revived. It only controls the horizontal transmission of diseases, especially diseases of grouped pigs.
