Law Creating the Administrative Board of the National Printing Office No. 5394 THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF COSTA RICA,
DECREES:
(As amended by Article 1 of Law No. 8305 of September 19, 2002)
For the election of these last two members, shortlists must be sent to the Ministry of Governance for it to make the selection.
The Director of the Printing Office shall have the judicial and extrajudicial representation of the Board and shall be its executive agent.
The remainder shall be remitted to the order of the Board in monthly installments as applicable, in the manner and condition determined by Regulation of the Executive Branch.

Likewise, the Autonomous and Semi-Autonomous Institutions of the State are authorized to grant loans to said Board through the Ministry of Governance, destined for the acquisition of goods, equipment, services, furniture, and materials necessary for the National Printing Office. Said loans shall be guaranteed with the special funds indicated herein and any others that said institution deems necessary.

Ley de Creación de la Junta Administrativa de la Imprenta Nacional N° 5394 LA ASAMBLEA LEGISLATIVA DE LA REPÚBLICA DE COSTA RICA,
DECRETA:
(Así reformado por el artículo 1° de la ley N° 8305 del 19 de setiembre de 2002)
Para la elección de estos dos últimos miembros deberán enviarse ternas al Ministerio de Gobernación para que éste haga la escogencia.
El Director de la Imprenta tendrá la representación judicial y extrajudicial de la Junta; y será su personero ejecutivo.
El resto lo girará a la orden de la Junta en cuotas mensuales según corresponda en la forma y condición en que determine por Reglamento el Poder Ejecutivo.

Asimismo se autoriza a las Instituciones Autónomas y Semiautónomas del Estado para que se le concedan préstamos a dicha Junta a través del Ministerio de Gobernación, con destino a la adquisición de bienes, equipo, servicios, mobiliario y materiales necesarios para la Imprenta Nacional. Dichos préstamos serán garantizados con los fondos especiales aquí señalados y cualquiera otros que dicha institución crea necesarios.
Todas las publicaciones que la Asamblea Legislativa deba realizar en el diario oficial La Gaceta, en virtud del proceso de formación de las leyes o los acuerdos legislativos, serán gratuitas.
Las publicaciones de las leyes que se deban realizar en el diario oficial La Gaceta serán gratuitas y los costos asociados a esta disposición no podrán trasladarse al usuario.
