throughout the entire text - Full Text of Regulation 599 Reform to Call Up the Public Force Reserve to collaborate with police forces during the performance of activities within their competence for the protection of the country's forest resources PRESIDENCY OF THE REPUBLIC No. 599-P THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC Using the powers conferred by articles 139 subsection 3) of the Political Constitution, 26 subsections a) and b) of the General Public Administration Law, Law No. 6227 of 02 May 1978, 39 of the General Police Law No. 7410 of 26 May 1994, 240 and 241 of the Organizational Regulation of the Ministry of Public Security, Executive Decree No. 36366-SP of 02 November 2010.
I.-That by Presidential Accord No. 499-P at ten o'clock on the tenth of March of the year two thousand twenty, it was ordered to call up the Public Force Reserve from zero hours on the eleventh of May of the year two thousand twenty until twenty-four hours on the tenth of May of the year two thousand twenty-one, to collaborate with police forces during the performance of activities within their competence, in relation to the following events: attending to national-level emergencies by collaborating with police forces, communities, municipalities, emergency committees, and public service organizations for the attention of said events; protecting the country's forest resources, in accordance with the provisions of Executive Decree No. 30494-MINAE-MOPT-SP of 05 June 2002, as well as reinforcing citizen surveillance and security tasks throughout the national territory in support of the work carried out by the Public Force. The personnel called up through this act shall be subordinate to the Minister of Public Security, who shall arrange everything pertinent for this purpose, in accordance with the current legal regulations. The validity of said call-up shall remain during the period between zero hours on the eleventh day of May of the year two thousand twenty, until twenty-four hours on the tenth day of May of the year two thousand twenty-one. The foregoing is effective as of the eleventh of May of the year two thousand twenty.
II.-That by official communication No. MSP-DM-DRFP-043-2021 dated 27 January 2021, Commissioner Ricardo Donato Monge, National Director of the Reserve of the Police Forces, requests the Minister of Public Security to extend the validity of the call-up made by Accord No. 499-P, until 10 May of the year 2022, so that the operational capability of the Reserve is not interrupted. The foregoing was endorsed by the Minister of Public Security, Michael Soto Rojas, by official communication No. MSP-DM-0152-2021 dated 27 January 2021. Therefore, IT IS AGREED:
Considering:
499-P at ten o'clock on the tenth of March of the year two thousand twenty, so that it shall read as follows:
"Article 3.-The present call-up shall be for the period between zero hours on the eleventh day of May of the year two thousand twenty, until twenty-four hours on the tenth day of May of the year two thousand twenty-two."
499-P at ten o'clock on the tenth of March of the year two thousand twenty shall remain in force.

en la totalidad del texto - Texto Completo Norma 599 Reforma Convocar a la Reserva de la Fuerza Pública para colaborar con los cuerpos policiales durante el desarrollo de actividades propias de su competencia para el resguardo de los recursos forestales del país PRESIDENCIA DE LA REPÚBLICA Nº 599-P EL PRESIDENTE DE LA REPÚBLICA En uso de las facultades que le confieren los artículos 139 inciso 3) de la Constitución Política, 26 incisos a) y b) de la Ley General de la Administración Pública, Ley N° 6227 del 02 de mayo de 1978, 39 de la Ley General de Policía Nº 7410 del 26 de mayo de 1994, 240 y 241 del Reglamento de Organización del Ministerio de Seguridad Pública, Decreto Ejecutivo Nº 36366-SP del 02 de noviembre del 2010.
I.-Que por Acuerdo Presidencial Nº 499-P de las diez horas del diez de marzo del año dos mil veinte, se dispuso convocar a la Reserva de la Fuerza Pública a partir de las cero horas del once de mayo del año dos mil veinte y hasta las veinticuatro horas del diez de mayo del año dos mil veintiuno, para colaborar con los cuerpos policiales durante el desarrollo de actividades propias de su competencia, en relación con los siguientes eventos: atención de emergencias a nivel nacional colaborando con los cuerpos policiales, comunidades, municipalidades, comités de emergencia y organizaciones de servicio público para la atención de dichos eventos; resguardo de los recursos forestales del país, de conformidad con lo dispuesto en el Decreto ejecutivo N° 30494-MINAE-MOPT-SP del 05 de junio del 2002, así como para reforzar las labores de vigilancia y seguridad ciudadana en todo el territorio nacional como apoyo a la labor que realiza la Fuerza Pública. Los efectivos convocados mediante este acto quedarán subordinados al Ministro de Seguridad Pública, quien dispondrá de todo lo pertinente para tal efecto, de conformidad con la normativa jurídica vigente. La vigencia de dicha convocatoria se mantendrá durante el período comprendido entre las cero horas del día once de mayo del año dos mil veinte, hasta las veinticuatro horas del día diez de mayo del dos mil veintiuno. Lo anterior con rige a partir del once de mayo del año dos mil veinte.
II.-Que mediante oficio N° MSP-DM-DRFP-043-2021 de fecha 27 de enero del 2021, el Comisario Ricardo Donato Monge, Director Nacional de la Reserva de las Fuerzas de Policía solicita al Ministro de Seguridad Pública se extienda la vigencia de la convocatoria efectuada mediante Acuerdo N° 499-P, hasta el 10 de mayo del año 2022, con el fin de que no se vea interrumpida la operatividad de la Reserva. Lo anterior fue avalado por el Ministro de Seguridad Pública, Michael Soto Rojas por oficio N° MSP-DM-0152-2021 de fecha 27 de enero de 2021. Por tanto, ACUERDA:

"Artículo 3º-La presente convocatoria será para el período comprendido entre las cero horas del día once de mayo del año dos mil veinte, hasta las veinticuatro horas del día diez de mayo del dos mil veintidós."
