Delimita mediante coordenadas CRTM05 los sectores con aptitud turística (desde Río Barú hasta Playa Coronado, Playa Violín a San Pedrillo, y el poblado de Sierpe) y los sectores declarados no turísticos: las áreas aledañas a manglares y la ría del Río Grande de Térraba por vocación agrícola-ganadera, y los tramos internos del Golfo Dulce colindantes con la Reserva Forestal Golfo Dulce por limitaciones para el desarrollo turístico. Excluye expresamente los terrenos que el Área de Conservación de Osa clasifique en el futuro como Patrimonio Natural del Estado (PNE) y aquellos afectados por los artículos 6 y 73 de la Ley de ZMT. Además, deroga todas las declaratorias anteriores para el cantón de Osa y ordena su publicación en La Gaceta.
