REFORM OF ARTICLE 2 OF LAW No. 5695, CREATION OF THE NATIONAL REGISTRY, AND ITS REFORMS, AND OF ARTICLES 1 AND 39 OF THE NATIONAL CADASTRE LAW, No. 6545
DECREES:
5695, Creation of the National Registry
5695, Creation of the National Registry, of 28 May 1975, and its reforms, is hereby reformed. The text shall read:
"Article 2.- The National Registry is comprised of, in addition to those attached by other laws, the following registries:
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the authorities of the National Registry may organize the different departments, in accordance with their internal regulations." Article sheet
6545 Articles 1 and 39 of the National Cadastre Law, No. 6545, of 25 March 1981, and its reforms, are hereby reformed. The texts shall read:
"Article 1.- This Law has as its object the creation and regulation of the National Cadastre, belonging to the Real Estate Registry." "Article 39.- The heads of the National Cadastre Office, as well as the heads of the cadastral technical services, shall be held by topographical and geodetic engineers, with a degree granted by a Higher Education institution and duly incorporated into the respective professional association; all following the procedures established by the Civil Service." Article sheet SOLE TRANSITORY PROVISION.- The Executive Branch must regulate the standards and procedures that consolidate the operations of the Real Estate Registry.

DECRETA:
Refórmase el artículo 2 de la Ley Nº 5695, Creación del Registro Nacional, de 28 de mayo de 1975, y sus reformas. El texto dirá:
"Artículo 2.- Conforman el Registro Nacional, además de los que se adscriban por otras leyes, los siguientes registros:
Sin perjuicio de lo anterior, las autoridades del Registro Nacional podrán organizar las diferentes dependencias, de conformidad con sus reglamentos internos."
Refórmanse los artículos 1 y 39 de la Ley del Catastro Nacional, Nº 6545, de 25 de marzo de 1981, y sus reformas. Los textos dirán:
"Artículo 1.- La presente Ley tiene por objeto la creación y regulación del Catastro Nacional, perteneciente al Registro Inmobiliario." "Artículo 39.- Las jefaturas de la Oficina de Catastro Nacional, así como las jefaturas de los servicios técnicos catastrales, serán ocupadas por ingenieros topógrafos y geodestas, con título otorgado por una institución de Educación Superior y debidamente incorporados al colegio respectivo; todo siguiendo los procedimientos establecidos por el Servicio Civil."
Los trabajadores de los órganos objeto de esta reforma conservarán todos los derechos adquiridos, de acuerdo con la legislación laboral que los regula.
El Poder Ejecutivo deberá reglamentar las normas y los procedimientos que consoliden las operaciones del Registro Inmobiliario.
Rige a partir de su publicación.
