I.-That by memorandum AI- 067-2004, of 11 April of this year, Lic. Edwin Salazar Serrano, Internal Legal Advisor, and Lic. Rafael Abarca Gómez, Internal Auditor, in order to improve the regulation and interpretations of the Regulation for the regulation and control of the efficient use of fuel destined for the national non-sport fishing fleet in jurisdictional waters or beyond them, request that it be amended with respect to Article 11 of said regulation.
II.-That at the same time, the board members consider it appropriate to amend paragraph 4, of subsection k), Article 18 of the aforementioned Regulation, in order to permit that the persons authorized to carry out the exoneration procedure be employees of at least one of the companies of the same legal representative.
III.-That having discussed the foregoing memorandum, the Board of Directors concurs in its interest in improving said regulation and therefore in adopting the aforementioned amendments. Therefore:
IT IS AGREED:

AJDIP/258-2002, of 12 September 2002, so that it reads as follows:
"For vessels of the small-scale artisanal fleet, the application shall be received during the first ten days following the previous final trip(s), for which a maximum of 25 days of absence shall be recognized." I.-Que mediante nota AI- 067-2004, del 11 de abril del presente año, el Lic. Edwin Salazar Serrano, Asesor Legal Interno, y el Lic. Rafael Abarca Gómez, Auditor Interno, a los efectos de mejorar la regulación e interpretaciones del Reglamento para la regulación y control del uso eficiente del combustible destinado a la flota pesquera nacional no deportiva en aguas jurisdiccionales o fuera de ellas, solicitan se modifique en lo concerniente al artículo 11 de la citada normativa.
II.-Que a la vez, los señores directores consideran conveniente modificar el párrafo 4, del inciso k), artículo 18 del Reglamento mencionado, a efecto de permitir que las personas autorizadas para realizar el trámite de exoneración, sean empleados de al menos una de las compañías del mismo representante legal.
III.-Que discutido el oficio anterior, la Junta Directiva, coincide en su interés de mejorar la citada normativa y por ello acoger las modificaciones mencionadas. Por tanto:
