(a). Applies to the microbiological parameters of N1.
(b). Applies to the physical-chemical parameters of N1. In the case of the distribution network, a single (1) sample is taken.
(c) In aqueducts that supply populations exceeding 100,000 people, with a quality history, of at least 2 years, and results of:
i. Negative fecal coliforms and E. coli in more than 95% of the annual samples.
ii. Residual chlorine between 0.3 mg/L to 1.0 mg/L (in 90% of the annual samples).
iii. Turbidity less than or equal to 1 N.T.U. (in 90% of the annual samples).
The operating entities can reduce the number of samples by up to 50% and readjust the sampling frequency in accordance with said reduction. To opt for this reduction in an aqueduct, the operating entity must prove with statistical data the history of water quality results (with prior authorization from the Ministry of Health, M.S.).
Operational control results. (measurements taken by the operating entity) TABLE (TABLA) A.
