in the entirety of the text - Complete Text of Norm 41757 Declaration of public utility for the interests of the State of the Association for the Development, Administration and Improvements of the aqueduct and sewer service of Quebrada Honda de Patarrá Complete Text of record: 12DB8E N° 41757-MJP THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC AND THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE AND PEACE Based on the provisions of articles 140, subsection 18) and 146 of the Political Constitution, article 32 of the Law of Associations number 218 of August eight, 1939, and articles 27 and following of the Regulation to the Law of Associations number 29496-J, published in La Gaceta N° 96 of May 21, 2001, as well as the provisions of article 3, subsection ch) of the Income Tax Law number 7092 and articles 103 and 104 of the Code of Tax Norms and Procedures number 4755.
I.-That article 32 of the Law of Associations number 218 of August eight, 1939, and its amendments, grants the Executive Branch the power to declare of public utility those simple, federated, or confederated associations whose development and activities are particularly useful for the interests of the State, and that thereby contribute to solving a social need.
II.-That the Association for the Development, Administration and Improvements of the Aqueduct and Sewer Service of Quebrada Honda de Patarrá, legal entity identification number 3-002-552365, was registered in the Registry of Associations of the National Registry as of October thirteen, two thousand eight, volume 575, entry 64828.
III.-That the primary purpose pursued by the Association, according to its bylaws, is: "To administer, operate, maintain, develop, and conserve in good condition the aqueduct, in accordance with the provisions and regulations issued for such purpose by the Instituto Costarricense de Acueductos y Alcantarillados." IV.-That this purpose solves a social need of the highest order, for which it merits the support of the Costa Rican State. Therefore, They Decree:

I.-Que el artículo 32 de la Ley de Asociaciones número 218 del ocho de agosto de 1939 y sus reformas, confiere al Poder Ejecutivo la potestad de declarar de utilidad pública a las asociaciones simples, federadas o confederadas, cuyo desarrollo y actividades sean particularmente útiles para los intereses del Estado, y que por ello contribuyan a solventar una necesidad social.
II.-Que la Asociación para el Desarrollo, Administración y Mejoras del Servicio de Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Quebrada Honda de Patarrá, cédula de persona jurídica número 3-002-552365, se inscribió en el Registro de Asociaciones del Registro Nacional desde el día trece de octubre de dos mil ocho, tomo 575, asiento 64828.
III.-Que el fin primordial que persigue la Asociación, según sus estatutos, es: "Administrar, operar, dar mantenimiento, desarrollo y conservar en buenas condiciones el acueducto, de conformidad con las disposiciones y reglamentos que al respecto emita el Instituto Costarricense de Acueductos y Alcantarillados".
IV.-Que al fin solventa una necesidad social de primer orden, por lo cual merecen el apoyo del Estado costarricense. Por tanto,
