in the entirety of the text - Complete Text of Norm 40698 Reform of Executive Decree No. 33826 "Ratifies the Forest Development Plan 2001-2010 (PNDF)" No. 40698-MINAE THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC AND THE MINISTER OF ENVIRONMENT AND ENERGY In exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 50 and 140, subsections 3) and 18), of the Political Constitution; Articles 1, 2, 3, 4, and 48 of the Organic Environmental Law No. 7554 of October 4, 1995; Articles 1, 5, 6, 19, 20, and 52 of the Forestry Law (Ley Forestal) No. 7575 of February 13, 1996; and Article 27, subsection 1), and Article 28, subsection 2), item b), of the General Public Administration Law No. 6227 of May 2, 1978.
Considering:
7575 establishes as an essential and priority function of the State to ensure the conservation, protection, and administration of natural forests and the production, utilization, industrialization, and promotion of the country's forest resources.
DFOE-AE-IF-10-2016, dated August 8, 2016, from the Comptroller General of the Republic, stipulates that the adjustments to the National Forest Development Plan 2011-2020 should establish the responsibility of the main actors for its implementation, according to their competencies.
