in the entirety of the text - Full Text of Norm 37409 Declares of Public Utility for the interests of the State the Cipreses de Oreamuno de Cartago Aqueduct Association Full Text record: EADD5 No. 37409-JP THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC AND THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE AND PEACE Based on the provisions of articles 140, subsection 18) and 146 of the Political Constitution, article 32 of the Associations Law No. 218, and articles 27 and following of the Regulation to the Associations Law No. 29496-J published in La Gaceta No. 96 of May twenty-first, two thousand one.
I.That article 32 of the Associations Law No. 218 of August eighth, nineteen thirty-nine and its amendments, grants the Executive Branch the power to declare of Public Utility those simple, federated, or confederated Associations, whose development and activities are particularly useful for the interests of the State, and that thereby contribute to solving a social need.
II.That the ASOCIACIÓN DE ACUEDUCTO DE CIPRESES DE OREAMUNO DE CARTAGO, legal entity identification number 3-002-227240, was registered in the Associations Registry of the Public Registry on May twentieth, two thousand four, under volume No. 453, entry 17214.
III.That the purposes pursued by the Association, according to article three of its Bylaws, are: "(…) ARTICLE THREE: (…) A.-Build an aqueduct in the Canton of Oreamuno, Province of Cartago. B.-Administer, operate, and maintain in good condition the aqueduct in accordance with the provisions and regulations issued in this regard by Acueductos y Alcantarillados. C.-Obtain the effective participation of the community in the construction and maintenance of the aqueduct. D.-Collaborate in educational programs and campaigns that are undertaken. E.-Help explain and disseminate within the community the provisions and Regulations of Acueductos y Alcantarillados. F.-Cooperate with the plans, projects, and works undertaken by Acueductos y Alcantarillados. G.-Participate in the monitoring and protection of the aqueduct's supply sources (fuentes de abastecimiento), prevent their contamination, and help protect the hydrographic basins of the Region.”
IV.That such purposes solve a social need of the highest order, for which they deserve the support of the Costa Rican State. Therefore,

I.Que el artículo 32 de la Ley de Asociaciones N° 218 del ocho de agosto de mil novecientos treinta y nueve y sus reformas, confiere al Poder Ejecutivo la potestad de declarar de Utilidad Pública a las Asociaciones simples, federadas o confederadas, cuyo desarrollo y actividades sean particularmente útiles para los intereses del Estado, y que por ello contribuyan a solventar una necesidad social.
II.Que la ASOCIACIÓN DE ACUEDUCTO DE CIPRESES DE OREAMUNO DE CARTAGO, cédula de persona jurídica número 3-002-227240, se inscribió en el Registro de Asociaciones del Registro Público desde el día veinte de mayo del dos mil cuatro, bajo el tomo N° 453, asiento 17214.
III.Que los fines que persigue la Asociación, según el artículo tercero de sus Estatutos, son: "(.) ARTÍCULO TERCERO: (...) A.-Construir un acueducto en el Cantón de Oreamuno, Provincia de Cartago. B.-Administrar, operar y conservar en buenas condiciones el acueducto de acuerdo a las disposiciones y reglamentos que al respecto emita Acueductos y Alcantarillados. C.-Obtener la participación efectiva de la comunidad en la construcción y mantenimiento del acueducto. D.-Colaborar en los programas y campañas de índole educativas que se emprendan. E.-Ayudar a
