in the entirety of the text - Complete Text of Regulation 37102 Declares of public utility for the interests of the State the Asociación de Voluntarios para el servicio en las áreas protegidas (ASVO) Complete Text of act: E3E28 No. 37102-JP THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC AND THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE AND PEACE Based on the provisions of articles 140, subsection 18) and 146 of the Political Constitution, article 32 of the Law of Associations (Ley de Asociaciones), and articles 27 and following of the Regulations to the Law of Associations No. 29496-J, published in Gazette No. 96 of May twenty-first, two thousand one.
I.Article 32 of the Law of Associations No. 218 of August eighth, nineteen thirty-nine and its amendments, grants the Executive Branch the power to declare of Public Utility simple, federated, or confederated Associations, whose development and activities are particularly useful for the interests of the State, and that thereby contribute to solving a social need.

III.The purposes pursued by the Association, according to article two of its bylaws, are: ". ARTICLE TWO: Corporate purpose: The Association shall have the following purposes: a) To promote the conservation and restoration of the environment. b) To promote and strengthen volunteer work for the benefit of the environment. c) To cooperate with governmental and non-governmental organizations, national and international, that work in favor of the environment. d) To provide volunteers with a legal status that allows for greater efficiency and coverage in their functions.". IV.Such purposes solve a social need of the first order, for which reason they deserve the support of the Costa Rican State. Therefore,
