REFORM OF ARTICLES 27 AND 31 AND OF TRANSITORIO I OF THE FOREST LAW (Ley Forestal), No. 7575 The Forest Law (Ley Forestal), No. 7575, of February 13, 1996, is reformed in the following provisions:
"Article 27.- Authorization for felling Only a maximum of three trees per hectare may be cut annually on lands of agricultural and livestock use (uso agropecuario) and without forest, after obtaining the authorization of the Regional Environmental Council (Consejo Regional Ambiental). If the felling exceeds ten trees per property, the authorization of the State Forestry Administration (Administración Forestal del Estado) shall be required." b) Article 31, the text of which shall read:
"Article 31.- Permit for transporting wood To remove from the farm to any part of the national territory wood in logs, squared, or sawn, coming from forest plantations, a certificate of origin issued by the forestry regent (regente forestal) or the Regional Environmental Council (Consejo Regional Ambiental) of the zone shall be required. In the event that this document is issued by the forestry regent (regente forestal), the copy must bear the receipt stamp of the State Forestry Administration (Administración Forestal del Estado).
