in the entirety of the text - Complete Text of Norm 030 Amendment to agreement AJDIP/247-2022 solely for medium-scale Tourist and Sport Fishing vessels COSTA RICAN INSTITUTE OF FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE AJDIP/030-2023.-Puntarenas, on the seventh day of the month of February of two thousand twenty-three.
1.-That through agreement AJDIP/076-2022, Agreement AJDIP/077-2020 is repealed, for which purpose a new "Regulation for the Monitoring, Control and Surveillance of Fishing Vessels of the National and Foreign Fleets" is issued, with the objective of harmonizing and regulating the measures on monitoring, control and surveillance of vessels of the national and foreign fishing fleet, in addition to resolving a series of gaps in light of new regulations and availability of technologies.
2.-That in this new regulation, its Second Transitory Provision establishes the implementation of radio beacons for tourist and sport fishing vessels, once six months have elapsed from the entry into force of said agreement.
3.-That through Board of Directors Agreement AJDIP/247-2022, an amendment to the Second Transitory Provision of Agreement AJDIP/076-2022 is approved, extending its entry into force to February 28, 2023.
4.-That it is necessary to provide clarification regarding the tourist and sport fleet to which the provisions of AJDIP/247-2022 will be applicable, which for such purposes corresponds to the medium-scale tourist and sport fleet, which must implement the use of the beacon by the date of February 28, 2023.
5.-That having duly analyzed the foregoing, the Board of Directors of the Costa Rican Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Therefore,
2°-Firm agreement.
3°-Let it be published.

en la totalidad del texto - Texto Completo Norma 030 Reforma acuerdo AJDIP/247-2022 únicamente para las embarcaciones de mediana escala de la Pesca Turística y Deportiva INSTITUTO COSTARRICENSE DE PESCA Y ACUICULTURA AJDIP/030-2023.-Puntarenas, a los siete días del mes de febrero de dos mil veintitrés.
1.-Que mediante el acuerdo AJDIP/076-2022, se deroga el Acuerdo AJDIP/077-2020, para lo cual se emite un nuevo "Reglamento para el Seguimiento, Control y Vigilancia de Embarcaciones Pesqueras de las Flotas Nacional y Extranjera", con el objetivo de armonizar y reglamentar las medidas sobre seguimiento control y vigilancia de las embarcaciones de la flota pesquera nacional y extranjera, además de solventar una serie de vacíos a la luz de las nuevas regulaciones y disponibilidad de tecnologías.
2.-Que en este nuevo reglamento se establece en su Transitorio II, la implementación de la radio balizas, a las embarcaciones de pesca turística y deportiva, una vez transcurridos seis meses a partir de la entrada en vigencia de dicho acuerdo.
3.-Que mediante Acuerdo de Junta Directiva AJDIP/247-2022, se aprueba modificación al Transitorio II del Acuerdo AJDIP/076-2022, ampliando la entrada en vigencia de este al 28 de febrero del 2023.
4.-Que resulta necesario realizar aclaración en cuanto a la flota turística y deportiva a la cual será aplicable lo dispuesto en el AJDIP/247-2022, que a tales efectos corresponde a la flota turística y deportiva de mediana escala, la que deberá implementar el uso de la baliza, en la fecha de 28 de febrero del año 2023.
5.-Que debidamente analizado lo expuesto, la Junta Directiva del Instituto Costarricense de Pesca y Acuicultura, Por tanto, ACUERDA:
2°-Acuerdo firme.
3°-Publíquese.
