[.]Artículo 6.- [.] q) Donar al Ministerio de Educación Pública (MEP), para que construya mobiliario, repare infraestructura en escuelas y colegios públicos o utilice, en las asignaturas de ebanistería, torno, carpintería y otras, la madera decomisada, una vez firme la sentencia condenatoria y que no haya sido adjudicada en remate ni solicitada por persona alguna con los requisitos de ley. Asimismo, donará las maderas que lleguen a poder de la Administración Forestal, como producto de desastres naturales o ampliación de carreteras, cuando no se conozca a sus legítimos propietarios. Las juntas de educación y las juntas administrativas, que lo soliciten ante el Ministerio de Educación Pública, podrán recibir en donación dichas maderas. El procedimiento para realizar la solicitud ante el Ministerio de Educación Pública y su respectivo trámite serán establecidos vía reglamento. Las juntas de educación y las juntas administrativas podrán vender las maderas recibidas en donación, acatando los principios señalados en los artículos 4, 5 y 6 de la Ley de Contratación Administrativa, Ley 7494, de 2 de mayo de 1995. Los dineros obtenidos por la venta de dicho recurso serán invertidos, exclusivamente, para cubrir las necesidades del centro educativo correspondiente y serán consignados en el presupuesto respectivo.
