in the entirety of the text - Full Text of Regulation 43562 Appoints Mr. Alejandro José Picado Eduarte as President of the National Commission for Risk Prevention and Emergency Response N° 43562-MP THE FIRST VICE PRESIDENT, EXERCISING THE PRESIDENCY OF THE REPUBLIC AND THE MINISTER OF THE PRESIDENCY In the exercise of the powers conferred upon them by articles 140, subsections 1) and 8), and 146 of the Political Constitution; articles 17 and 19 of the National Emergency and Risk Prevention Law, N° 8488 of November 22, 2005; and articles 25, paragraph 1), 27, paragraph 1), and 28, paragraph 2), subsection b) of Law Nº 6227, the General Public Administration Law of May 2, 1978.
Sole: That article 17 of the National Emergency and Risk Prevention Law, Law N° 8488 of November 22, 2005, establishes that the president of the National Commission for Risk Prevention and Emergency Response, who presides over its Board of Directors, shall be appointed by the Executive Branch, by means of an executive decree (decreto ejecutivo).
