The Colegio de Químicos shall publish in the official gazette La Gaceta the updates to the tariffs regulated in this Regulation, which shall take effect upon their publication.
The tariffs for analysis and other services that have an assigned value and are included in this Regulation shall be adjusted semi-annually based on the exchange rate against the United States dollar. The increase percentage shall be governed according to the following calculation:
(b-a)/a x 100 where a = exchange rate corresponding to the first day of the semester ending and b = exchange rate of the last day of the semester ending.
Additionally, the Colegio de Químicos may conduct a complete review of the tariffs regulated in this Regulation at least every five years, so that if, as a result of that process, changes to the structure, content, or calculation basis of the tariffs are proposed, such proposals shall be forwarded to the Executive Branch for approval and publication by Decree.
4. That the Tariff Commission conducted an exhaustive analysis in accordance with article 9 of the Tariff Regulation, where it is unanimously agreed, based on the analysis performed, to recommend to the Board of Directors a 22% increase in the tariffs of the Colegio de Químicos.
The tariff update is presented below in accordance with article 10 of the Reglamento de Tarifas para Análisis Químicos (I, II, III, and IV):
