| Oral (mg/kg bodyweight) | 5 | 50 | 300 | 2000 | 5000 |
| Dermal (mg/kg bodyweight) | 50 | 200 | 1000 | 20000 | |
| Gases (ppm V) | 100 | 500 | 2500 | 20000 | > 20000 |
| Vapours (mg/1) | 0.5 | 2.0 | 10.0 | 20.0 | > 20.0 |
| Dust and mists (mg/1) | 0.05 | 0.5 | 1.0 | 5.0 | > 5.0 |
NOTES:
1. The concentration of gases is expressed in parts per million by volume (ppm V).
2. Acute toxicity values are expressed as (approximate) LD50 values (ingestion, dermal absorption) or LC50 (inhalation).

4. Products with an LD50 greater than 5000 mg/kg shall be classified in category 5 for Oral and Dermal exposure.
5. For the application of the toxicological classification recommended by the GHS, technicians must know and apply the guidelines that the official GHS document develops on how to apply the LD50 classification, whether it is a single active ingredient or a mixture of active ingredients, according to the route and type of exposure.
6. When applying the toxicological classification for the different exposure forms, technicians must choose the most hazardous classification (the most toxic value), in order to protect health and the environment, provided that said classification applies to the product being evaluated.
7. The inhalation toxicological classification (LC50) must be applied to those fumigant products that form mist, gas, vapours, or dust.
