1.- That the Legislative Assembly, through Law number 9321 of the twenty-fifth day of August of two thousand fifteen, published in La Gaceta Digital number 196 of the 8th day of October 2015, approved the accession to the Agreement on Port State Measures to Prevent, Deter and Eliminate Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing (PSMA) and its Annexes, done in the city of Rome, on November 22, 2009.
2.- That the instruments of accession will be deposited with the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), in accordance with Articles 27 and 36 of the aforementioned Agreement.
In exercise of the powers conferred by subsections 10 and 12 of Article 140 and Article 146 of the Political Constitution of the Republic of Costa Rica.

1.- Que la Asamblea Legislativa mediante Ley número 9321 del día veinticinco de agosto de dos mil quince, publicada en La Gaceta Digital número 196 del día 8 de octubre de 2015, aprobó la adhesión al Acuerdo sobre Medidas del Estado Rector del Puerto Destinadas a Prevenir, Desalentar y Eliminar la Pesca Ilegal, no Declarada y no Reglamentada (MERP) y sus Anexos, hecho en la ciudad de Roma, el 22 de noviembre de 2009.
2.- Que los instrumentos de adhesión serán depositados ante el Director General de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Agricultura y la Alimentación (FAO), según los artículos 27 y 36 del mencionado Acuerdo.
En uso de las facultades que les confieren los incisos 10 y 12 del artículo 140 y el artículo 146 de la Constitución Política de la República de Costa Rica.
