The following details the additional information about the activity, work, or project that may be requested by the Municipality of Pococí:
1. When during any stage of the development of the activity, work, and/or project, infrastructure is required to be built or developed, the interested party must provide:
a. Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan.
b. Application of the Code of Good Environmental Practices (Código de Buenas Prácticas Ambientales).
c. Wastewater Management Plan.
d. Stormwater Management Plan.
e. Soil study on the property where the activity, work, or project is located.
f. Application of the Code of Good Environmental Practices (Código de Buenas Prácticas Ambientales).
2. When during any stage of the development of the activity, work, and/or project, the use of water from an artisanal well is required, the interested party must provide:
a. Affidavit stating that the well is artisanal and provides potable water.
b. Well indicated on the property plat (plano).
3. When during any stage of the development of the activity, work, and/or project, the use of water from an industrial well, river, lake, spring (manantial), or spring (naciente) is required, the developer must provide:
a. Copy of the registration document and respective permit for water use from the well, approved by the Water Department of MINAET and/or SENARA.
b. Permit issued by MINAET for the use of water from the well.
c. Result of a laboratory analysis certifying that the water from the well is suitable for human consumption or potable.
d. Application of the Code of Good Environmental Practices (Código de Buenas Prácticas Ambientales).
e. Well indicated on the property plat (plano).
4. When during any stage of the development of the activity, work, and/or project, logging (cutting) of trees is required, the developer must provide:
a. Respective permit from MINAET and/or Agrarian Court, and proposed mitigation measures.
b. Present a mitigation or compensation plan.
c. Application of the Code of Good Environmental Practices (Código de Buenas Prácticas Ambientales).
5. When during any stage of the development of the activity, work, and/or project, immissions, emissions, annoying noise to immediate or adjacent neighbors, or any air pollution (strong odors) are produced from the use of solvents, paints, organic garbage, and others as a consequence of its productive process, or gases, smoke, ash, soot, or particles are emitted from the use of ovens, chimneys, stationary engines, vehicles, or machinery of any type, the developer must provide:
a. Present a proposal for environmental prevention measures.
b. Present an environmental mitigation plan for the activity.
c. Apply the Code of Good Environmental Practices (Código de Buenas Prácticas Ambientales).
d. Comply with current National Legislation.
6. When during any stage of the development of the activity, work, and/or project, earthworks (movimientos de tierra) larger than 50 m3 but smaller than 300 m3 (removal, excavation, or soil fill) are contemplated, with hauling outside or within the project area, the developer must provide:
a. Contour line plats (planos de curvas de nivel) indicating the cuts and sectors to be filled or excavated, summing the total cubic meters.
b. Present an environmental mitigation plan for the activity.
c. Application of the Code of Good Environmental Practices (Código de Buenas Prácticas Ambientales).
7. When during any stage of the development of the activity, work, and/or project, terrain cuts are made near the property boundary (colindancia) (up to 5m), the developer must provide:
a. Design for the development of engineering stabilization works, under the responsibility of a professional.
b. Application of the Code of Good Environmental Practices (Código de Buenas Prácticas Ambientales).
8. When during any stage of the development of the activity, work, and/or project, dredging works are carried out, or the course or direction of a water body (stream, river, lagoon, pond) is changed, the developer must provide:
a. Respective permit from the Water Department of MINAET and/or SENARA.
b. Present a proposal for environmental prevention measures.
c. Present an environmental mitigation plan for the activity.
d. Application of the Code of Good Environmental Practices (Código de Buenas Prácticas Ambientales).
9. When during any stage of the development of the activity, work, and/or project, solid waste is produced or generated, the developer must provide:
a. Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan.
b. In the case of commercial activities or Institutions, must present a copy of the Plan approved by the Ministry of Health.
c. Application of the Code of Good Environmental Practices (Código de Buenas Prácticas Ambientales).
10. When during any stage of the development of the activity, work, and/or project, wastewater is produced or generated, the developer must provide:
a. Wastewater Management Plan: indicate the type of system.
b. Soil study if the activity, work, or project is located in the vicinity of an environmentally fragile area (área ambientalmente frágil).
c. If it is a septic tank or an upflow anaerobic filter system, must present: Plats (Planos) approved by the Federated College of Engineers and Architects (Colegio Federado de Ingenieros y Arquitectos); and, Copy of the calculation report (memoria de cálculo).
d. Any other treatment system (Treatment Plant, biodigester, constructed wetland (humedal artificial)) must present: 1) Plats (Planos) approved by the Federated College of Engineers and Architects (Colegio Federado de Ingenieros y Arquitectos), the Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (ICAA), and the Ministry of Health. 2) Copy of the calculation report (memoria de cálculo). 3) Application of the Code of Good Environmental Practices (Código de Buenas Prácticas Ambientales).
11. When any stage of the development of the activity, work, and/or project implies carrying out a demolition, the developer must:
a. Present a plan of preventive measures for demolition.
b. Apply the Code of Good Environmental Practices (Código de Buenas Prácticas Ambientales).
