in the entirety of the text - Full Text of Standard 37947 Repeals executive decrees related to the development and updating of the Agri-food Sector Full Text of record: F3C92 No. 37947-MAG THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC AND THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND LIVESTOCK Exercising the powers conferred upon them by articles 140 subsections 3), 8), 18) and 20) and 146 of the Political Constitution; article 28 subsection b) of the General Law of Public Administration, Law No. 6227 of May 2, 1978, Law for the Promotion of Agricultural Production which incorporates the Organic Law of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, Law No. 7064 of April 29, 1987.

1That in accordance with report DFOE-PGAA-IF 22-2010 entitled "Evaluative Report on the Agricultural Sector", issued by the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic, it is necessary to update the regulations governing the Agri-food Sector.
2That the National Agricultural Sectorial Council, in its session CAN 02-2013, reiterates the urgency of having information on the status of the laws and decrees of the institutions of the Agricultural Sector from 2000 to date, required by the Office of the Comptroller General.
3That in order to comply with the aforementioned Report, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG), together with the institutions of the Agri-food Sector, carried out studies that determined the need to repeal a set of regulations belonging to the same.
4That the changes that have arisen in relation to the development and updating of the Agri-food Sector have generated inapplicability in the use of some regulations, making their repeal necessary.

5.- That some regulations of the Sector have been tacitly repealed by other regulations, so it is necessary to carry out their express repeal in order to avoid legal confusion in their application, by having two or more regulations for the same purpose. Therefore, They decree:

1Que de conformidad con el informe DFOE-PGAA-IF 22-2010 denominado "Informe Evaluativo sobre el Sector Agropecuario", emitido por la Contraloría General de la República, es necesario la actualización de la normativa que rige al Sector Agroalimentario.
2Que el Consejo Nacional Sectorial Agropecuario en su sesión CAN 02-2013, reitera la urgencia de contar con la información sobre el estatus de las leyes y decretos de las instituciones del Sector Agropecuario del 2000 a la fecha, requeridos por la Contraloría General.
3Que para el cumplimiento del mencionado Informe, el Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería (MAG) conjuntamente con las instituciones del Sector Agroalimentario realizaron los estudios que determinaron la necesidad de derogar un conjunto normativo perteneciente a las mismas.
4Que los cambios surgidos en relación con el desarrollo y actualización del Sector Agroalimentario, han generado la inaplicabilidad en el uso de alguna normativa, por lo que es necesaria su derogación.

5.- Que alguna normativa del Sector ha sido tácitamente derogada por otras normativas, por lo que es necesario realizar su derogación expresa a fin de evitar la confusión jurídica en su aplicación, al tener dos o más regulaciones para el mismo fin. Por tanto,
