Full Text of Norm 17768 Regulates the free delivery of legal publications to the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic Full Text of record: C597 1 No. 17768 THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC AND THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE AND GRACE, In accordance with the powers conferred by articles 140, subsection 3) of the Political Constitution and 43 of Law No. 6815 of September 27, 1982;
1º.—That article 43 of the aforementioned Law No. 6815 (Ley Orgánica de la Procuraduría General de la República) provides that "the Director of the National Printing Office and the legal representatives of the autonomous State institutions, and other public entities, shall send to the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic the number of copies determined by the respective regulation, of every publication of a legal nature that they make, including every new edition of laws and regulations." 2º.—That given its condition as the superior consultative, technical-legal body of the Public Administration and legal representative of the State in matters within its competence, it is of vital importance that the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic receive an adequate number of such publications for the better fulfillment of its purposes.
3º.—That the related article 43 has not been regulated.

When, in the judgment of the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic, a greater quantity is required, such circumstance shall be communicated by means of a justifying note to the Director of the Printing Office, so that they continue sending the requested quantity.

1°.- Que el articulo 43 de la supracitada ley N° 6815 (Ley Orgánica la Procuraduría General de la Republica, dispone que "el Director de la Imprenta Nacional y los representantes legales de las instituciones autónomas del Estado, y demás entidades publicas, enviarán a la Procuraduría General de la Republica el número de ejemplares que determine el respectivo reglamento, de toda publicación de ¡índole jurídica que hagan, incluso de toda nueva edición de leyes y reglamentos" 2°.-Que dada su condición de órgano superior consultivo, técnico-jurídico, de la Administración Publica y representante legal del Estado en las materias propias de su competencia, es de vital importancia que la Procuraduría General de la Republica reciba un número adecuado de tales publicaciones para el mejor cumplimiento de sus fines.
3°.-Que el relacionado articulo 43 no ha sido reglamentado.

DECRETAN:
Cuando a juicio de la Procuraduría General de la República se requiera de una mayor cantidad, mediante nota justificativa se comunicará tal circunstancia al Director de la Imprenta, a fin de que continúe remitiendo la cantidad solicitada.
