The subscriber shall have a maximum of 15 calendar days from the day following the delivery of the notification by the Company's inspector, to correct the internal deficiencies in their piping, on the understanding that, should they fail to do so, the Company will calculate and charge the billing amount for the questioned period and for the following months, based on the effective consumption registered by the water meter, thereby concluding the claim for high consumption. Likewise, it is the customer's responsibility to carry out a comprehensive review of their installations; therefore, the adjustment shall be made only once within a period of 3 years. It is understood that, if the subscriber's responsibility is determined for deficiencies in their interior installations, the cost of the inspections that must be performed will be charged to the customer in accordance with the rate established by the Autoridad Reguladora de los Servicios Públicos (ARESEP). Furthermore, the customer shall have a maximum of 10 calendar days after the bill's due date to submit the inspection request for the application of this article; after this period, the inspection can proceed, but the application of the aforementioned article cannot. Likewise, a correction will only be applied to bills that exceed the minimum monthly consumption." 2. Publish in the official gazette La Gaceta.
