1Que el Colegio de Ingenieros Agrónomos, en coordinación con otros organismos e instituciones nacionales e internacionales, celebrará del 4 al 6 de agosto del 2010, en San José, Costa Rica, el XIII Congreso Agropecuario y Forestal-CONAGROF-, considerado como el magno evento de capacitación que realiza el Colegio.
2Que el XIII Congreso Agropecuario y Forestal se desarrollará bajo el lema "Creatividad e innovación para el Desarrollo Agropecuario y Forestal", con lo cual se busca una mayor participación de productores y profesionales en este Congreso que interactúen para fortalecer el diálogo, la discusión productiva y la actualización tecnológica.
3Que en este Congreso se contará con la participación de conferencistas, nacionales y extranjeros, expertos y reconocidos por su trayectoria en las áreas temáticas a desarrollar, así como con la representación de productores, organizaciones y empresas privadas, instituciones públicas y universidades, de gran valor para el planteamiento de políticas en este campo.
4Que el Congreso está estructurado para desarrollarse dentro de once áreas temáticas de actualidad e interés, a saber: avances tecnológicos en fitoprotección; impactos biotecnológicos en la producción; buenas prácticas agrícolas; desafíos forestales para la nueva década; nuevos paradigmas de la sociedad rural; conservación y producción sustentable; innovación y producción agropecuaria y forestal; retos para el mejor aprovechamiento de los suelos; dinámica de la economía agrícola y pecuaria; panorama del sector pecuario y nuevos paradigmas del ejercicio profesional.

Artículo 1 — To declare of public and national interest the holding of the XIII Agricultural and Forestry Congress- CONAGROF- 2010 to be held in San José, Costa Rica, from August 4 to 6, 2010.

Artículo 2 — To request the authorities of the public institutions involved in the subject and the bodies of the agricultural sector to promote the dissemination of this activity and the participation of their officials.

Artículo 3 — It shall become effective upon publication.

Artículo 1 — Declarar de interés público y nacional la celebración del XIII Congreso Agropecuario y Forestal- CONAGROF- 2010 a desarrollarse en San José, Costa Rica, del 4 al 6 de de agosto del 2010.
