29144-MSP: "Regulation to the Law of the National Coast Guard Service", so that it reads as follows:
"Article 8.-The Administrative Department shall be coordinated by an administrative chief and composed of the following sections:
- a)Financial/Accounting. Section responsible for the processes of planning, administration, and custody of the special fund of the national coast guard service, as well as the maintenance of the chart of accounts, budget control, accounting, preparation of internal and external control reports on the financial statements. It shall also oversee the resources and assets that Law No. 8000, empowers the service to receive, so that they are collected promptly.
- b)Personnel. Section responsible for carrying out all administrative processes before the corresponding bodies, regarding the selection, appointment, transfers, swaps, sick leaves, vacations, promotions, leaves of absence, or other personnel movements, of the officials of the National Coast Guard Service, as well as coordinating between the Directorate of the Service, Ministry of Public Security, Service Academy, and any other institution, the administrative procedures in the scheduling of courses, selection of candidates for courses and scholarships, among others.
- c)Procurement. Section responsible for receiving the orders for material, equipment, supplies from the Coast Guard Stations, as well as coordinating with the Procurement Office of the Ministry, the requests for quotations, in addition to managing the prior procedures, and following up on purchases, in order to distribute them to the Service Stations. The Procurement Office of the Ministry of Public Security shall, where possible, assign two persons to handle the procedures of the National Coast Guard Service."
