24398-MAG of May 22, 1995, published in La Gaceta No. 129 of July 7, 1995 so that henceforth it reads as follows:
"Article 6º-The minimum value of the professional hour that members of the College of Agronomists of Costa Rica must charge for the provision of private services in Agricultural and Forestry Sciences is hereby established at an amount of ₡11,000.00 (eleven thousand net colones).
The charging of this rate shall apply under the following conditions:
- a)When the professional agrees with their client on the charging of fees per hour, for carrying out studies, responding to inquiries, providing occasional or continuous technical advice, etc.
- b)Professionals who provide services to their clients for a fixed salary shall not be subject to this charge.
- c)The professional may not charge a lesser sum per hour worked than that established. As an exception, the professional shall not be obligated to charge for their services if they perform them in a global manner and expressly so, or when dealing with ascendants, descendants, or collateral relatives, by blood or affinity up to the third degree, or if the client is another member of the College.
- d)This rate does not include per diem allowances (viáticos), transportation, and other expenses incurred by the member in providing the service."
