THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC AND THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND LIVESTOCK Based on articles 140 subsections 3), 8), 18), and 20) and 146 of the Political Constitution, articles 25, 27 subsection 1), 28 subsection 2b) of Law No. 6227 of May 2, 1978, General Law of Public Administration, articles 34, 35, and 36 of Law No. 7779 of April 30, 1998, Law on the Use, Management, and Conservation of Soils;
I.-That Law No. 7779 of April 30, 1998, Law on the Use, Management, and Conservation of Soils, establishes in its article 34 that, in accordance with the areas defined in the National Plan, a Committee shall be created for each area, responsible for directing the process of drafting the management, conservation, and recovery plans for the soils of the respective area and finally approving them, among other duties.
