in the entirety of the text - Complete Text of Norm 33406 Declares of Public Utility for the interests of the State the Administrative Association of the Aqueduct of Volcán de Buenos Aires de Puntarenas Complete Text record: A1577 N° 33406 N° 33406 THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC AND THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE AND GRACE Based on the provisions of articles 140, subsection 18) and 146 of the Political Constitution, article 32 of the Law of Associations and articles 27 and following of its Regulation.
I.-That article 32 of the Law of Associations number 218 of August eight, nineteen thirty-nine and its amendments, grants the Executive Branch the power to declare of Public Utility those simple, federated or confederated Associations, whose development and activities are particularly useful for the interests of the State, and that thereby contribute to solving a social need.
II.-That the Administrative Association of the Aqueduct of Volcán de Buenos Aires de Puntarenas, legal identity number 3-002-224501, was registered in the Registry of Associations of the Public Registry since July nine, nineteen ninety-eight, under file number 9840.
III.-That the purposes pursued by the Association, according to article three of its Bylaws, are: "... Article three: The purposes of the association are the following: a) Improve the aqueduct of Volcán de Buenos Aires. b) Administer, operate and maintain in good condition the aqueduct, in accordance with the regulatory provisions issued on the matter by the Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers which shall be of mandatory compliance. c) Obtain the effective participation of the community in the maintenance of the aqueduct. d) Collaboration in programs and campaigns of an educational nature that are undertaken. e) Help explain and disseminate in the community the provisions and regulations of Aqueducts and Sewers. f) Cooperate with the plans, projects and works undertaken by Aqueducts and Sewers in the community. g) Participate in the surveillance and protection of the aqueduct's supply sources, avoiding contamination in the region." III.-Que los fines que persigue la Asociación, según el artículo tercero de sus Estatutos, son: "...
