THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC AND THE MINISTER OF THE PRESIDENCY In execution of what was ordered by the Government Council in the sole agreement recorded in article three of the minutes of ordinary session number seven, held on June twenty-first, two thousand six.

AGREE:

To integrate the Board of Directors of the National Groundwater, Irrigation and Drainage Service (SENARA), as follows:

1. Alfredo Volio Pérez, ID No. 1-545-822, Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, who will preside over it until May 8, 2010. 2. Octavio Jiménez Pinto, ID No. 9-036-980. 3. Carlos Dengo Garrón, ID No. 1-861-352. 4. Jaime Villalobos Vargas, ID No. 4-095-207. 5. Carlos Manuel González Alvarado, ID No. 1-160-660. 6. Saúl Cárdenas Vásquez, ID No. 5-170-439, representing the Cooperative Movement; elected from a slate composed of Messrs. Saúl Cárdenas Vásquez, ID No. 5-170-439; Jesús Villalobos Gamboa, ID No. 2-329-038, and Félix Cabezas Varela, ID No. 5-0191-0049, which was sent for that purpose by Mr. Víctor H. Morales Zapata, Executive Secretary of the National Cooperative Council; and 7. Juan Prendas Saborío, ID No. 5-152-437, representing the Peasant Federations legally registered with the Ministry of Labor and Social Security; who was elected from the slate composed of Messrs. Juan Prendas Saborío, ID No. 5-152-437 and María Esther Alpízar Rodríguez, ID No. 1-945-197, and Jesús Chavarría Mena, ID No. 1-903-617, sent by Mr. José Ángel Obando Sequeira, Assistant Secretary General of the Costa Rican Christian Peasant Federation (FECCC) and from the slate composed of Ms. Lilliam Vega Arroyo, ID No. 6-101-1306; Mistral Hernández Salas, ID No. 2-353-350, and María Victoria Viales Bustos, submitted by Ms. Lilliam Vega Arroyo and María Victoria Viales Bustos, in their order Secretary General and Secretary of Minutes and Correspondence of the National Agrarian Federation.

These appointments are effective as of June 21, 2006 and for the remainder of the corresponding legal period, that is, until May 31, 2010 in the case of the 4 (four) members designated by the Government Council and until May 31, 2008, in the case of the remaining 2 (two) members.

Agreement declared final by unanimous vote.

Texto Completo acta: 9DE49 Nº 022 (NOTA DE SINALEVI: Mediante acuerdo N° 123 del 25 de noviembre de 2008, se acordó la aprobación de una nueva integración de la Junta Directiva del Servicio Nacional de Aguas Subterráneas, Riego y Avenamiento (SENARA), publicado en La Gaceta N° 7 del 12 de enero de 2009, la cual puede consultarse en el Sistema).

EL PRESIDENTE DE LA REPÚBLICA Y EL MINISTRO DE LA PRESIDENCIA En ejecución de lo dispuesto por el Consejo de Gobierno en el único acuerdo que consta en el artículo tercero del acta de la sesión ordinaria número siete, celebrada el veintiuno de junio del dos mil seis.

ACUERDAN:

Integrar la Junta Directiva del Servicio Nacional de Aguas Subterráneas, Riego y Avenamiento (SENARA), de la siguiente manera:

1. Alfredo Volio Pérez, cédula Nº 1-545-822, Ministro de Agricultura y Ganadería, quien la presidirá hasta el 8 de mayo del 2010.

2. Octavio Jiménez Pinto, cédula Nº 9-036-980.

3. Carlos Dengo Garrón, cédula Nº 1-861-352.

4. Jaime Villalobos Vargas, cédula Nº 4-095-207.

5. Carlos Manuel González Alvarado, cédula Nº 1-160-660.

6. Saúl Cárdenas Vásquez, cédula Nº 5-170-439, en representación del Movimiento Cooperativo; elegido de terna integrada por los señores Saúl Cárdenas Vásquez, cédula Nº 5-170-439; Jesús Villalobos Gamboa, cédula Nº 2-329-038, y Félix Cabezas Varela, cédula Nº 5-0191-0049, que para el efecto envió el señor Víctor H. Morales Zapata, Secretario Ejecutivo del Consejo Nacional de Cooperativas; y 7. Juan Prendas Saborío, cédula Nº 5-152-437, en representación de las Federaciones Campesinas legalmente inscritas en el Ministerio de Trabajo y Seguridad Social; quien fue elegido de la terna integrada por los señores Juan Prendas Saborío, cédula Nº 5-152-437 y María Esther Alpízar Rodríguez, cédula Nº 1-945-197, y Jesús Chavarría Mena, cédula Nº 1-903-617, enviada por el señor José Ángel Obando Sequeira, Secretario General Adjunto de la Federación Campesina Cristiana Costarricense (FECCC) y de la terna integrada por los señores Lilliam Vega Arroyo, cédula Nº 6-101-1306; Mistral Hernández Salas, cédula Nº 2-353-350, y María Victoria Viales Bustos, remitida por las señoras Lilliam Vega Arroyo y María Victoria Viales Bustos, por su orden Secretaria General y Secretaria de Actas y Correspondencia de la Federación Agraria Nacional.

Rigen estos nombramientos a partir del 21 de junio del 2006 y por el resto del período legal correspondiente, sea hasta el 31 de mayo del 2010 en el caso de los 4 (cuatro) miembros designados por el Consejo de Gobierno y hasta el 31 de mayo del 2008, en el caso de los restantes 2 (dos) miembros.

Acuerdo declarado firme por unanimidad.
