Included within the Park are all rocks and islands located in front of it that are found in the territorial waters of Costa Rica.

From this last point, it continues with a due East bearing to a point located at coordinates 289,500 N and 508,600 E, where the spring (naciente) of the Quebrada Vaquedano is located; the boundary follows downstream along this creek to the site of its confluence with the Pavón River, which has coordinates 283,680 N and 517,200 E; from this point the boundary follows downstream along the Pavón River to its junction with the Rincón River, located at a point with coordinates 284,350 N and 518,450 E; the boundary follows upstream along this river to a point at coordinates 279,400 N and 518,530 E, where it joins the Niño River; it follows upstream along this river to its spring (nacimiento) at a point with coordinates 279,250 N and 520,550 E, from where it continues in a straight line to meet the point at coordinates 277,400 N and 521,750 E, where the North tributary of the Agujas River rises; the boundary continues downstream along it to its confluence with the South tributary of the Agujas River at the point with coordinates 276,940 N and 525,280 E; it follows in a straight line to the point at coordinates 273,560 N and 527,740 E, where the confluence of the Quebrada Piedras Blancas with its tributary is located, continuing upstream along this creek to its spring (nacimiento) which is found at a point with coordinates 270,080 N and 522,880 E; it follows with a due South bearing to the point with coordinates 270,000 N and 522,880 E; the boundary continues with a due West orientation to a point with coordinates 270,000 N and 521,000 E, then follows along the coordinate 521,000 E, with a due South bearing to a point with coordinates 268,260 N and 521,000 E, from where it follows with a due West orientation to a point with coordinates 268,260 N and 520,720 E, at this point the Quebrada Leona rises, the boundary continuing downstream to its mouth.
Between this last point and the point of origin of this description extends the marine boundary of this park, which includes a strip of 500 m of sea along the coast.
Any type of mining extraction within the rivers bordering this park shall be regulated by the Servicio de Parques Nacionales. Persons carrying it out must settle on the banks outside the park. The Servicio de Parques Nacionales shall keep a record of persons engaged in such extraction and shall cancel the activity for anyone who violates the rules in force for the park").

It shall be their responsibility to assist the MAG in the protection of the park until a permanent body of resident forest guards is created therein.
The Committee may also invite to its meetings, with the status of observers, representatives of national and international organizations interested in the conservation of this park.
Only the collection of few or small specimens of plants, rocks, and minerals shall be permitted, subject to the joint written approval of the Servicio de Parques Nacionales and the Management Committee. Likewise, the Servicio de Parques Nacionales, with the approval of the Committee, may carry out or authorize the execution of those infrastructure works and facilities that are necessary for research, education, administration purposes, and for visitors with educational interests.

Área 34 346 Ha. 5 000.00 m2 Entre este último punto de coordenadas 267 000 y 519 000, y el origen de la presente descripción de coordenadas 287 000 y 492 750, se extiende el limite marítimo de este Parque, que incluye una franja de 500 metros de mar a lo largo de la costa. Se incluyen dentro del Parque todas las rocas e islas ubicadas frente al mismo que se encuentren en aguas territoriales de Costa Rica.

(NOTA DEL SINALEVI: Mediante decreto ejecutivo N 11148 del 5 de febrero de 1980 "se amplía el Parque Nacional Corcovado, creado por Decreto Ejecutivo número 5357-A, de 24 de octubre de 1975, para que incluya como área total la comprendida dentro de los siguientes linderos: desde un punto de la costa localizado en las coordenadas 287.000 N y 492.750 E, sigue por líneas rectas cuyos vértices tienen las siguientes coordenadas:

A partir de este último punto, se continúa con rumbo Este, franco hasta un punto situado en las coordenadas 289.500 N y 508.600 E, en donde se localiza la naciente de la Quebrada Vaquedano; sigue el límite aguas abajo de esta quebrada hasta el sitio de su confluencia con el río Pavón, que tiene por coordenadas 283.680 N y 517.200 E; de este punto sigue el límite aguas abajo del río Pavón hasta su unión con el río Rincón, situado en un punto con coordenadas 284.350 N y 518.450 E; sigue el lindero aguas arriba de este río hasta un punto en las coordenadas 279.400 N y 518.530 E, donde se une con el río Niño; se sigue aguas arriba de este río hasta su nacimiento en un punto con coordenadas 279.250 N y 520.550 E, de donde se continúa por línea recta hasta encontrar el punto de coordenadas 277.400 N y 521.750 E, donde nace el afluente Norte del río Agujas; continúa el lindero aguas abajo de éste hasta su confluencia con el afluente Sur del río Agujas en el punto con coordenadas 276.940 N y 525.280 E; se sigue en línea recta hasta el punto de coordenadas 273.560 N y 527.740 E, donde se ubica la confluencia de la quebrada Piedras Blancas con su tributario, continuándose aguas arriba de esta quebrada hasta su nacimiento que se encuentra en un punto con coordenadas 270.080 N y 522.880 E; se sigue con rumbo Sur franco hasta el punto con coordenadas 270.000 N y 522.880 E; continúa el lindero con orientación Oeste franco hasta un punto con coordenadas 270.000 N y 521.000 E, sigue luego sobre la coordenada 521.000 E, con rumbo Sur franco hasta un punto con coordenadas 268.260 N y 521.000 E, de donde se sigue con orientación Oeste franco hasta un punto con coordenadas 268.260 N y 520.720 E, en este punto nace la quebrada Leona, continuando el lindero aguas abajo hasta su desembocadura.
Entre este último punto y el de origen de la presente descripción se extiende el límite marino de este parque que incluye una franja de 500 m de mar a lo largo de la costa.
Cualquier tipo de extracción mineral dentro de los ríos limítrofes a este marque estará regulada por el Servicio de Parques Nacionales. Las personas que la lleven a cabo se deberán asentar en las márgenes exteriores al parque. El Servicio de Parques Nacionales llevará un control de las personas que se dediquen a dicha extracción y cancelará la actividad a quien infringiere las normas vigentes para el parque").
Estos terrenos se declaran como inalienables.
Será responsabilidad suya ayudar al MAG en la protección del parque hasta tanto no se cree un cuerpo permanente de guardabosques residentes en el mismo.
El Comité podrá también invitar a sus reuniones con el carácter de observadores, a representantes de organizaciones nacionales e internacionales interesadas en la conservación de este parque.
