I.-That through Law Nº 8147 of October 24, 2001, the Law for the Creation of the Trust for the Protection and Agricultural Promotion for Small and Medium-Sized Producers was issued.

1)Represent the Trust Committee at official events.
2)Sign the contracts and/or agreements that the Trust Committee requires for its operation, in accordance with Law Nº 8147 and its amendments.
3)Open current accounts in the name of the Trust Committee.
4)Sign all documents required for the accounting and financial management of the Committee.
5)Prepare, together with the Executive Director of the Trust, the respective agendas for ordinary and/or extraordinary sessions of the Committee.
6)Any other function that empowers him to coordinate all actions inherent to the operation of the Committee".

I.-Que mediante Ley Nº 8147 del 24 de octubre del 2001, se emitió la Ley de Creación del Fideicomiso para la Protección y el Fomento Agropecuarios para Pequeños y Medianos Productores.
II.-Que mediante Decreto Ejecutivo Nº 32101-MAG de 19 de agosto del 2004, publicado en La Gaceta Nº 8 del 12 de enero del 2005, se emitió el Reglamento actual y vigente a la Ley Nº 8147 y sus reformas.

"Artículo 58 bis.-Del nombramiento del Presidente del Comité y sus funciones: Constituido el Comité del Fideicomiso, de acuerdo a las disposiciones de la Ley Nº 8147 y sus reformas y elegido su Presidente, el mismo tendrá en su carácter de representante legal de dicho Órgano, con personalidad jurídica instrumental, las siguientes funciones:
1)Representar en actos oficiales al Comité de Fideicomiso.
2)Suscribir los contratos y/o convenios que requiera el Comité de Fideicomiso para su funcionamiento, de acuerdo a la Ley Nº 8147 y sus reformas.
3)Realizar la apertura de cuentas corrientes a nombre del Comité de Fideicomiso.
4)Firmar todos los documentos que se requieran para el movimiento contable y financiero del Comité.
5)Confeccionar junto con el Director Ejecutivo del Fideicomiso, las respectivas agendas para sesiones ordinarias y/o extraordinarias del Comité.
6)Cualquier otra que le faculte coordinar todas las acciones inherentes al funcionamiento del Comité".
