en la totalidad del texto - Complete Text of Regulation 32578 Sets the amount of per diems for the members of the Board of Directors of the Costa Rican Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture Complete Text record: B42A3 Nº 32578-MAG (This decree was repealed by article 2 of executive decree Nº 34208 of December 4, 2007) Nº 32578-MAG THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC AND THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND LIVESTOCK In exercise of the powers conferred by articles 140, subsections 3), 8), 18) and 20) and 146 of the Political Constitution and articles 25, 27.1, 28.2b of Law Nº 6227 of May 2, 1978, General Law of Public Administration, Law Nº 7138 of November 16, 1989, Law Nº 7384 of March 16, 1994, Law Creating the Costa Rican Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture and Law Nº 8436 of February 10, 2005, Law of Fisheries and Aquaculture.
I.—That article 60 of Law Nº 7138 of November 16, 1989, establishes the power of the Executive Branch to compensate the per diems (dietas) of the members of the Boards of Directors, of the Autonomous Institutions and other Boards of Directors appointed by the Executive Branch, in accordance with the inflation index determined by the Central Bank of Costa Rica.
II.—That the per diems (dietas) to the members of the Board of Directors of the Costa Rican Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture, have not been adjusted since 2002.
III.—That according to the applicable regulatory provisions, in relation to the amounts of the accumulated variation, corresponding to the inflation indices for December 2003 and 2004, provided by the Statistics Section of the Central Bank of Costa Rica, the amount of the per diem for the year 2005, must be set at the sum of ¢23,545.00 (twenty-three thousand five hundred forty-five net colones).
IV.—That the effective date of the increase to the per diems, established in this Decree, shall be from its publication, for which INCOPESCA has the necessary and approved budgetary resources to cover the payment thereof.
V.—That through article 168, of Law Nº 8436, throughout the entire text of the Law Creating the Costa Rican Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Nº 7384, "acuacultura" was substituted with the word "acuicultura". Therefore, THEY DECREE:

I.—Que el artículo 60 de la Ley Nº 7138 de 16 de noviembre de 1989, establece la potestad del Poder Ejecutivo de remunerar las dietas de los miembros de las Juntas Directivas, de las Instituciones Autónomas y demás Juntas Directivas nombradas por el Poder Ejecutivo, de conformidad con el índice de inflación que determine el Banco Central de Costa Rica.
II.—Que las dietas a los miembros de la Junta Directiva del Instituto Costarricense de la Pesca y Acuicultura, no han sido ajustadas desde el año 2002.
III.—Que según las disposiciones normativas aplicables, en relación con los montos de la variación acumulada, correspondiente a los índices de inflación a diciembre 2003 y 2004, suministrados por la Sección de Estadísticas del Banco Central de Costa Rica, el monto de la dieta para el año 2005, debe fijarse en la suma de ¢23.545,00 (veintitrés mil quinientos cuarenta y cinco colones netos).
IV.—Que el rige del aumento a las dietas, establecido en el presente Decreto, será a partir de su publicación, para lo cual el INCOPESCA cuenta con los recursos presupuestarios necesarios y aprobados, para atender el pago de las mismas.
V.—Que mediante el artículo 168, de la Ley Nº 8436, se sustituyó en todo el texto de la Ley de Creación del Instituto Costarricense de la Pesca y Acuacultura, Nº 7384, "acuacultura" por la palabra "acuicultura". Por tanto,
