in the entirety of the text - Complete Text of Norm 32164 Modifies the budgetary expenditure limit for the Agricultural Development Project of the Nicoya Peninsula, established in the 2005 Budgetary Policy Directives Complete Text of record: 7ADB3 Nº 32164 Nº 32164 THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC AND THE MINISTER OF FINANCE Based on the powers conferred upon them by Articles 140, subsections 3) and 18) and 146 of the Political Constitution; Articles 25, subsection 1), 27, subsection 1) and 28, subsection 2) item b) of Law No. 6227 or the General Law of Public Administration of May 2, 1978, Law No. 8131 or the Law of the Financial Administration of the Republic and Public Budgets of September 18, 2001, and its Regulations, Law No. 7659 of February 28, 1997 and Executive Decree No. 31708-H of March 16, 2004.
Considering:
7659, published in La Gaceta No. 66 of April 7, 1997, a loan agreement was approved between the Republic of Costa Rica and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to finance the Agricultural Development Project of the Nicoya Peninsula (PRODAPEN).
5th-That through Executive Decree No. 31708-H, published in La Gaceta No. 62 of March 29, 2004, the Budgetary Authority formulated the General Budgetary Policy Directives for 2005, which were reviewed by the Governing Council and approved by the President of the Republic, establishing in Article 1 of said Decree the budgetary expenditure limit for the present year, for the entities covered under the scope of the aforementioned Collegiate Body. 6th-That through official communication STAP-CIRCULAR STAP-0435-04 of April 14, 2004, the
010-04 of November 29, 2004, the expansion of the total budgetary expenditure limit for the year 2005. Therefore:
IT IS DECREED:
31708-H and its amendments, is hereby modified for the Agricultural Development Project of the Nicoya Peninsula, such that the total budgetary expenditure of PRODAPEN may not exceed the sum of ¢760.25 million, in that period.

Considerando:
5º-Que mediante Decreto Ejecutivo Nº 31708-H, publicado en La Gaceta Nº 62 del 29 de marzo del 2004, la Autoridad Presupuestaria formuló las Directrices Generales de Política Presupuestaria para el 2005, las cuales fueron conocidas por el Consejo de Gobierno y aprobadas por el Presidente de la República, estableciendo en el artículo 1° del citado Decreto, el límite de gasto presupuestario del presente año, para las entidades cubiertas por el ámbito del mencionado Órgano Colegiado. 6º-Que mediante oficio STAP-CIRCULAR STAP-0435-04 del 14 de abril del 2004, se comunicó a PRODAPEN el límite de gasto fijado para el año 2005.
Por tanto:
DECRETAN:
Dado en la Presidencia de la República.-San José, al primer día del mes de diciembre del dos mil cuatro.
