Prior to executing the measure of service suspension, the subscriber (abonado) must be notified with eight business days' advance notice, and the Administration must also ensure that in the vicinity of the respective property there exists a public source of potable water from which the user can be served. When the referenced measure is based on lack of payment, the cancellation of the outstanding bill(s), as well as the respective reconnection fees, will authorize the immediate resumption of service without further requirements or formalities. Both the suspension and the reconnection of service must be executed within the Company's ordinary working day.
It takes effect upon its publication in the Official Gazette La Gaceta.
