Persons from civil society (sociedad civil) who wish to join the Local Regulatory Plan Commission must submit to the Municipal Council a formal written request for membership in the Commission, together with the supporting documents (atestados) that endorse their knowledge and/or academic background related to the subjects inherent to the Regulatory Plan.
Persons who wish to be the representatives of civil society on the Local Regulatory Plan Commission must be residents of the canton of Río Cuarto, with a minimum of five years of residence in the canton.
The Presidency of the Municipal Council shall convene all persons it considers to meet the established requirements to form part of the Local Regulatory Plan Commission so that they submit their application and supporting documents for study by the Municipal Council. The deadline for receiving applications shall not be less than ten business days and must be communicated through the official information channels of the Municipal Council and the Municipal Administration.
Once the deadline has closed, the Municipal Council shall evaluate—subject to a prior Commission opinion (dictamen de Comisión)—the proposals received and shall designate the two persons representing civil society.
