In the event of dissolution of the ASADA, all assets required for the continuity of the service, including land and easements (servidumbres), duly registered in the name of the ASADA, must be transferred to the Instituto Costarricense de Acueductos y Alcantarillados (AyA), for the purpose of ensuring that they continue to be used in the provision of services to the community for which they were acquired or constructed. The assets so transferred to the Instituto Costarricense de Acueductos y Alcantarillados (AyA) shall be subject to the public domain (dominio público), as provided by Article 18 of the Ley Constitutiva de AyA.

This law takes effect upon publication.
