in the entirety of the text - Complete Text of Norm 44988 Accession of the Republic of Costa Rica to the "Agreement under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea on the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biological Diversity of Areas beyond National Jurisdiction" No. 44988 - RREE THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC AND THE ACTING MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND WORSHIP Exercising the powers conferred upon them by subsections 10 and 12 of Article 140 and Article 146 of the Political Constitution of the Republic of Costa Rica.
I.That the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of Costa Rica, through Law No. 10678 of the twenty-fourth day of March of two thousand twenty-five, published in Scope number fifty-one of Digital Gazette number seventy-three of the twenty-fourth of April of two thousand twenty-five, approved the "Agreement under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea on the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biological Diversity of Areas beyond National Jurisdiction," adopted in the city of New York, United States of America, on the nineteenth of June of two thousand twenty-three.
II.That this Agreement shall enter into force on the thirtieth day following the date on which it has deposited its instrument of ratification, approval, acceptance, or accession.
III.That the instruments of accession shall be deposited with the Secretariat-General of the United Nations, in accordance with articles 66 and 75 of the aforementioned Agreement.

I.Que la Asamblea Legislativa de la República de Costa Rica mediante Ley Nº 10678 del día veinticuatro de marzo de dos mil veinticinco, publicada en el Alcance número cincuenta y uno de la Gaceta Digital número setenta y tres del veinticuatro de abril de dos mil veinticinco, aprobó el "Acuerdo en el Marco de la Convención de las Naciones Unidas sobre el Derecho del Mar Relativo a la Conservación y el Uso Sostenible de la Diversidad Biológica Marina de las Zonas Situadas Fuera de la Jurisdicción Nacional", adoptado en la ciudad de Nueva York, Estados Unidos de América, el diecinueve de junio de dos mil veintitrés.
II.Que el presente Acuerdo entrará en vigor el trigésimo día siguiente a la fecha en que haya depositado su instrumento de ratificación, aprobación, aceptación o adhesión.
