DEFINITIONS OF PORT SERVICES 1- To acknowledge resolution RE-0070-IT-2023 issued by the Public Services Regulatory Authority (Autoridad Reguladora de los Servicios Públicos, ARESEP), regarding the setting of maximum rates for the maritime and port services provided by the Board of Administration for Port and Economic Development of the Atlantic Coast (Junta de Administración Portuaria y de Desarrollo Económico de la Vertiente Atlántica), in the ports of Limón and Moín.

2- To approve the definitions of the port services of JAPDEVA for the rates approved by ARESEP through resolution RE-0070-IT-2023, published in the official gazette La Gaceta, Supplement 247 to Gaceta N° 230 of December 12, 2023, transcribed below:

Its billing is per day or fraction thereof per unit. Its billing is established in the following manner: -For loading and unloading tasks alongside the vessel, as well as receiving merchandise in warehouses and yards, its billing is established per hour or fraction thereof and per equipment capacity once requested by the client. -For the delivery or dispatch of merchandise in warehouses and yards, its billing is per ton; additionally, it will have a minimum billing of 20, 50, and 72 tons for forklifts with a capacity of 2 to 3.4 tons, 3.5 to 9.9 tons, and over 10 tons, respectively. Its billing is established per hour or fraction thereof. | | FORKLIFT OPERATOR | HR/FRAC | 31.18 | Forklift operator: This is the charge applied for the provision of the operator to use private forklift equipment when, due to reasons of equipment insufficiency, the Port Authority does not have them available. Furthermore, when the forklift equipment rental service starts after or ends before the requested time of the vessel operation, that period will be charged as an operator service. Its billing is established per hour or fraction thereof. | | STORAGE | TONS/DAY | 9.85 | Storage: This consists of the facilitation of facilities such as warehouses or yards for the merchandise to be safeguarded. Its billing is established by its gross weight (ton) per total days after the grace period granted by the port, which shall be 3 business days counted from the receipt of the merchandise. Once the grace days have elapsed, the following rates will be charged: First 10 days current rate, more than 10 days a surcharge of 20% of the current rate is charged. Dangerous merchandise must be duly labeled according to the merchandise code established by the International Maritime Organization. DEFINICIONES DE LOS SERVICIOS PORTUARIOS 1- Dar por conocida la resolución RE-0070-IT-2023 emitida por Autoridad Reguladora de los Servicios Públicos (ARESEP), con relación a la fijación de las tarifas máximas para los servicios marítimos y portuarios que brinda la Junta de Administración Portuaria y de Desarrollo Económico de la Vertiente Atlántica, en los puertos de Limón y Moín.

2- Aprobar las definiciones de los servicios portuarios de JAPDEVA para las tarifas aprobadas por la ARESEP mediante resolución RE-0070-IT-2023, publicado en el diario oficial La Gaceta, Alcance 247 a la Gaceta N° 230 del 12 de diciembre del 2023, transcritas a continuación:

El servicio se brinda a las embarcaciones desde el momento en que se establece la primera comunicación por radio a su arribo a puerto, hasta el momento en que se cierra la última comunicación al zarpar del puerto. Su cobro empezará a regir después del período de gracia (tres días) y pagarán la tarifa establecida (mayores 300 TRB o hasta 300 TRB) por buque y por día y/o por hora fracción. NOTA: Las embarcaciones muy pequeñas como lanchas, yates, o catamarán entre otras no catalogadas como buques menores de 300 TRB, pagarán un monto fijo de $15 por embarcación y por día o fracción por permanecer en rada o en dársena portuaria | | FONDEO DE EMBARCACIONES (BUQUES HASTA 300 TRB) | BUQUE | 23.7 | | | REMOLCAJE CON 1 | TRB | 0,12 | Servicio de remolcaje: Consiste en el servicio de empuje y arrastre durante las maniobras de atraque, desatraque, y/o movimientos de naves dentro del área portuaria. El número de remolcadores a utilizar queda a criterio de JAPDEVA dependiendo de las características de la nave y/o las condiciones meteorológicas a la hora de brindar el servicio.
