ARTICLE XVII Document No. 8840-16 Magistrate Carmenmaría Escoto Fernández, in her capacity as interim President of the Comisión de Gestión Ambiental Institucional, forwarded official letter No. 23-CGAI-2016 dated July 27, 2016, which states:
"..., in my capacity as Coordinator of the Comisión de Gestión Ambiental of the Poder Judicial, I inform you that this year a course on sustainable procurement ("green purchasing") is being proposed, aimed at judicial personnel involved in the procurement process, in order to improve the processes for acquiring goods and services at the institutional level in accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Management Plan (Plan de Gestión Ambiental).
